Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for finishing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of complex finishes of the interior and exterior of the facility. Instructs co-workers of repairs and maintenance of interior and exterior finishes.

• Paints walls, door, frames and other surfaces
• Installs and repairs vinyl and paper wall coverings
• Repairs damage to walls, doors, ceilings, floors and other interior building surfaces
• Responsible for repair and maintenance to exterior façade of the building
• Finish, repair, and touchup hospital furnishing such as millwork and furniture
• Assists purchasing agent in ordering parts and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs
• Responsible for documentation necessary to maintain records for the facility according to department policy

Job Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience – required

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent – preferred
